My son inherited my speed, so I was surprised when he came last in the school sports. I took him to task about it, and the following year he came third. But he looked a bit sheepish when he told me. I asked him could he have come second.
"Yes," he said. "But second had to race in the next round too."
What can you do?
Shame Docc was cancelled, but I feel a bit better now that I was slow to book.
