The only reference I can find to Lennart Nilsson refers to a Swedish photographer. Magical stuff to be sure but not Magic as such!

Perhaps Lennart Green would be half way towards carrying on?

If so:

If not, sorry  !

Keeping close to the name, how about the man who fooled Churchill with the original Out Of This World - Harry Green?

I nearly made a fool of myself then Mandrake - I had to grab my copy of Paul Curry's 'Magician's Magic' to make sure it was Harry Green and not Paul Curry himself who performed for Churchill! I thought you'd got it wrong! How embarrassing.

Right, here he is then, Harry Green...

Image

...and he says that you're a magician! Lovely!

Nice to see someone's got confidence in us all...

I'd like a picture of Mark Wilson performing, in his dodgy haircut days!

(If I'm going to be completely honest, I checked my Curry book first as well and, in making sure there was an answer, found exactly the same lone image!)

Ah, Mark Wilson, the Tony Blackburn of Magic.

I would love to see a photograph of the female magician who is Mark Shortland's wife, and has a double act with Martin Cox (the hardman of magic)

Can you find me a picture of the first president of the Magic Circle (topical considering it's centenary time!),

I'd say the UK one as it's our centenary. It would be a coincidence if it was the centenary of another Magic Circle too!

Rune,

That would always be an interesting option (don't know the history of the Danish Nagic Cricle - always good to extend one's knowledge) wasn't the one I was thinking of, but then didn't think outside my own box.

Anyway, just thought I'd add comment for you regarding McDonald's Aces - working hard on them thanks to your input :-),

The first president of the Magic Circle - that would be David Devant :).

Here's a picture of his back - that's something, at least :P.

Image.

How about a photo of the magician who has produced a DVD containing effects called Lethal Fours and Flashback... :D?

As one of his rivals said at the time, 'I've been dying to see the back of David Devant for years'.

"David Devant's Back"
