Hello all.

There's already a thread on a London meetup, but I thought I'd start a new thread because that thread is about a specific meetup which tends to only happen if certain key people are available. Which is fair enough.

I tend to sit in a pub one evening a week and practise card moves. By the end of the night I've usually spent some time performing for whoever happens to be in the pub, too.

I thought, since I'm going to be in the pub anyway, why not post on here and see if anyone wants to join me?

And then I thought, I don't really know many magicians, so why not do this twice a week, on weeks when I'm not too busy. If no one can make it, I'll just have to drunk too much, get slapped for "pawing" the barmaid, hand out some business cards, eat chips walking home in the rain, etc, as usual.

Ste Porterfield is up for meeting this Tuesday (tomorrow). Anyone want to join us?

I'm not online all the time, so if you read this thread during a particular afternoon or an evening, it's probably a good idea to post here in case you can prompt anyone else to join us, but mainly it's best to text me, as I may already be out.

My number is 0, then three 7s, then 128, then seven thousand, that's a seven followed by (*counts on fingers*) three zeros. Like this: o777 then 128 then 7ooo but with zeros instead of lower case 'o's, obviously.

Well, not quite that early. I was thinking 17:30ish.

OK. I'll be there at about five or half past, unless Lenoir or anyone else wants to meet earlier.

Let's try to get a table. The best place is if you go through the door on the right (as you're stood in the gutter facing the pub), through to the back room, with the fireplace and the dusky maidens. That's where I'll be if I get there first and if there's a table available. I'll be the one showing the portly landlord a card trick.

I'm easy really, 5 or 5.30 works well.

OK, I'll be there at 5. Either send me a text or just look out for the 'flash' as I clumsily palm a card.

So how many are coming? 2/3/4?
