This is going straight into my walkabout magic set when i offer it again in a month. This effect is ideal for bars, weddings and corporate events but is equally at home when showing a few mates down the pub. This really is a real World worker that you will want to perform in your act. The effect itself is strong and so very easy to do ( i just made my deck up and could perform it straight away).

You receive the special deck but you need to set it up yourself. When you watch the DVD you need to really pay attention so that you do not make any mistakes. The deck is simple to set up and will not take you very long to do.

The DVD is as you expect from RSVP, very good quality, well explained and easy to follow. The various menus will break down all the information you need to know into chunks so you will be ready to work the deck as soon as possible. You get live performances, setup instructions and alternative ideas. A very good DVD indeed.

Overall

I highly recommend this to anyone, beginners will love it as it is easy but really strong. Working performers also will be pleased to know that it can reset very fast for strolling performances.

I think I already know the answer to this but for clarity purposes.....

Once it's set up, is it a one trick deck?

Is the pack examinable before/after?

One trick deck, Not to be examined.

I think in general you wouldn't need to worry about people wanting to examine the deck before hand. Just say, "Let's just finish the trick and then you can examine it all you like."

If the reactions are anything like in the trailer, you'd have plenty of misdirection for a deck switch after.

Just thinking logically here; don't know how the effect works.

Does anyone know of any impracticalities with this? Is it always the same card (the one that is 'shown'; obviously the one that the second punter names is going to be whatever they name)? I mean, you wouldn't want to repeat for the same group of people but if you performed it for some people stood nearby?

If I recall, in the vid, no one flips over the card on the table. What if they did? Surely some punters would, even if for no particular reason. (Maybe they do; it's quite a long trailer.)

I know the deck can't be examined, but how about the card with their value written on it?? Is this examinable and could it be handed out as a keepsake or does it form part of the deck that needs to be retained ??

I wonder if maybe it's the same principle of the trick where there's a four letter name written on the back of each card, and they say a name and you say a card (or vice versa) and they match.

Just ordered this, should have it tomorrow or saturday, is this easy enough to get saturday morning and work it saturday night ?

You will be able to use the effect after watching the DVD, i used mine the same night for a booking.
