I'm also not sure I'd draw attention to the chain before the trick has even started.

Also don't refer to it as a trick. You creating a moment of wonder, doing the impossible, don't sell yourself short as just doing a card trick.
Try to pace it out a bit longer so it feels less like something you just learnt. You've got all the actual mechanics of it down so you don't need to worry about that so now work on making it into something more than just 'lost card found on chain'. How about making a few attempts to locate the card which are unsuccessful to create some dramatic tension? If, to your audience, it looks like you're having problems finding the card or that you've completely screwed it up, your reveal of the card on your chain will appear even more amazing. It won't be that you just turned a disaster into a success, you'll have turned a failed card trick into a miracle as the missing card is now suddenly and impossibly attached to the chain around your neck.
You should also tease more at the end. Just before the reveal, you're in the position where you're holding the deck in front of the chain but at that point you're audience don't know what's happened. Really slow down the reveal; pull the deck away from your chest as if the card is stuck in the deck so it takes about 3 seconds for it to be free (and count to 3 in your head as you do it). I guarantee you'll get gasps as people see the chain going through the card and they'll be left with an amazing image of you holding the deck with the card partially sticking out of it and the chain around you neck pulled away from your body attached to the card. It's a really visual finish so try to make it as visual as possible and milk it for all it's worth.
