Card gimmicks - not gimmick cards

Postby Chris Black » Oct 27th, '11, 09:56

Can anyone recommend any good gimmicks that work well with cards, but are not gimmick decks. I've got a few gaff decks but I want to be able to put together a short routine without switching decks. I've got WOW, Tool and Tagged (somewhere) already, which can all be used for great reveals.

I'm also thinking about investing in a wallet for some kind of card to wallet. What else can work with a regular deck and pack a decent punch?

Without a doubt, you need to get your hands on the ultimate card utility. Aka any signed card to any wallet.

It's genius in its method. It has too many uses for an amateur such as myself to think of and takes up zero pocket space. I can't sing it's praises enough to be honest. It's something magical that I actually didn't mind paying the asking amount for. In fact, I believe I got a bargain!

This sounds like exactly what you are after. Any thing you need to know, just pm. I'll not expose but can tell you if certain effects you may require are possible with this.

Hello Ace,

I leave the cellophane on my decks, & always carry a DB, & a Breather Crimped joker
slotted down the back, easy to get to for many good effects.

Hello again Ace,

Here's my local magic shop.
The co owner of the shop (Mark) designed this trick.

It was one of the very first card magic tricks I bought, & I still use it today........http://www.merlinswakefield.com/shop?pa ... gory_id=11" target="_blank
"The Key card Mystery"
It has a real kicker of an ending. It comes complete with instructional dvd, very easy to learn.
Mark who designed the trick is a really nice bloke, & a damn good magician.
I'm sure you will love this.
