Howdy, as you'll have probably read in the previous posts, our next planned outing is the 12th, though it's usually the first Sat of the month (different this month due to Bonfire night commitments from a number of peeps). Will be nice for another newcomer, as Ace mentioned on your other thread in S&T, we're not at all snotty etc.

Although on your first visit there's a good chance that they will make you wear a naughty inflatable hat.

Lawrence made one for a hen party on Saturday, they were very impressed!

Upon consideration Ace wasn't really 'made' to wear it, he was quite into the idea, especially as we were on Canal St. at the time. Dirty boy.

I'd love to, but being out last weekend and again on the 12th might not get wife approval...

Alternatively I'm running an afternoon of live music on the 6th in Mossley (three stops from Victoria on the Hudds train line) if anyone fancies that? The whole pub must be sick of my card tricks by now.

I also might be going to a gig at the Abbey again on 12th after doing the beer train. Anyone's welcome along to either the beer or the gig...
