My friend, this post is going to get you quite a lot of angry answers :(

EDIT: I am slowly realizing that I have probably missed an occasion to keep my mouth shut. If this is the case, I sincerely apologize.

Although I think the post could use some editing as it is borderline exposure, I think asking for books is not something to get angry about.

I would recommend Building Blocks by Luke Jermay. Ignore the effects and routines (which are very good) and instead look more at the way in which things are worded and positioned, the effects and routines are more examples of how to implement the good stuff as the good stuff is hard to actually describe without an example. The same could be said of PS1 by Banacek.

Not explained. Only explained in the first edition of his first book. However I suspect the OP is talking about the performance he did on television without a table.

I wouldnt have mentioned my thoughts on another effect if i knew it was simple and could easily be anybodies.

I have much respect for Brown, his methods alone can gain him an audience.

Conviction cant be taught or exposed,a beginner (to mentalism)still won't have an idea of performing this effect, it sounds too risky to them, which is what we want.

But I sincerely apologize for upsetting you guys and only that.

You haven't: I probably misunderstood and as I said before, answered too quickly.

Though if you look at the careful angling, it uses the same method for the most part ;)

Took me a while to figure out too! Before I realised it was the SAME DAMN METHOD!!! :P

my guess is that you will be a little disappointed by the method for lift. I don't remember him doing it for his TV show, but the method for the presentation in the international magic lecture was given in the first edition of pure effect (good luck getting hold of that!).
I'm impressed that he got away with it without the t*b*e though!
