I must admit they are very expensive but you won't find anyone more highly recommended ,you have to remember that he deals with orders from top working pro's that make a lot of money from magic and can probably justify paying that much. I would defo email him though because he might be able to help you out deal wise.
I have nothing against commercial gaff coins, as long as they are not advertised as a 'higher quality / high end' (which Mark Mason's are)
I've been looking for a good commercial UK coin gaff maker / supplier for ages and was recommended a few but have since completely forgotten about my pursuit (gave up and concentrated on card magic). I will look into this again and if I can source some better quality commercial coins I will of course let you know.
Another top quality gaff maker (especially american currency) is Todd Lassen
