It hardly requires a setup though... All it requires is the right type of clothing. Then off you go, just pull the coin out of your pocket and BAM it's gone and they don't know what happened. PM with what you believe to be the setup, I want to hear what you have to say...

Reading between the lines, I'm sure that's what Last Deck on the Left was trying to say, without actually revealing anything. What he's trying to say is that he'd probably never wear the required clothing as part of his persona.

I must agree, it's vary rare that I would, either. :)

I'm not that kind of boy (said the young man to the vicar)

But it's clothes that people wear everyday. A large majority of people too. Very common clothes, and I still don't understand how that is a setup... But hey, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

The 'setup' that I wouldn't normally be able to do !

Hi anti_camper,

I can see what you are getting at - there isn't really a setup as in the normal magic 'setup' for other tricks. But the way I dress (and I guess how Zack does) wouldn't allow me to perform this trick!

I've PM'd you to avoid revealing the secret and to remove any confusion that you have!!

Edit: - I've just had a thought. With my next office items purchase - I will buy the thing that will allow me to perform this trick. Being in this situation will easily allow me to be set up for this trick. So I might therefore just save it for 'in the office' or at meetings!

:D

Spoilt the trick and ruined my day!!

Serves you right for wearing that flowing dress - you've got nothing there to catch the coin! Letting it drop right down to your thong is just asking for trouble! :P

OK OK, a little revealing (in more ways than one  ) but Vic was the one who started talking about thongs!

There's a joke in there somewhere about this week's Thongs of Praise coming from Downunder - but I'm not doing it!

I bought this, and I happen to think it's a really beautiful vanish. It's just PERFECT for parties when people say "Hey, do a trick!". You can literally go right into the "Anyone have a coin?". I mean surely MOST people have what's needed for it at a party? Hehe... I know I do! It's really easy to learn, and with luck you'll have it perfected in a few days...

Don't be put off by the comments, 90% of people here I'm sure have what it takes.
