Finally nailed the second half of Corner of Piccadilly yesterday and today I'm headed out for Lonson for a couple of days. Tomorrow afternoon consists of 'team drinks' and I've unpicked the top pocket of my work suit ready to perform this effect when they ask me to show them something. Got to the station and left the cards in my other jacket pocket!

I might swing by Davenports for another one en route, is it easy to find? Does anyone know if they stock Paul's effects?

It will work with any cards mate. It looks great with the 1800 series.

I do it with modern cards, it makes no difference. I felt the antique ones looked gimmicked (running without being chased probably).

I thought that but still need 3 matching decks to create the effect, I might have 2 blue backs in my case. I think there's time to pop into Davenports at charing cross anyway, relieve some CUPS while I'm there.

Two f**ce decks are all you need. Doesn't have to be find the Queen, so long as one of the decks is a court and one a pip.

Or one two-way f***e deck... Good thinking.

Well what do you know, I got to Davenports and opened my bag and found two packs of blue backed bikes one with a dupe Q in the cellophane. Still spent £20 though, how does that happen?

After our chat on saturday I got a stripper deck along with some testors and some rubber cement, nothing too exciting. How did your Saturday evening go?
