What do most of you do with your old playing cards.
I'm starting to get quite a collection. :?

Practise torn and restored tricks?

I keep an old deck around for practising card cuts, I find it easier with older decks.

An older card can work well as a marker card in a fresh deck, put one in and have a look!

I also have a green deck I bought 5 or 6 years ago at my first Blackpool convention that I keep for purely sentimental reasons.

Custom R&S decks made to specification - PM me for details

I tend to chuck them.
Mind you, i do an awfull lot of effects where cards are destroyed these days, so old cards tend to be a thing of the past.
I will often sit down with the odd cards, and consolidate them into useable decks. Then destroying them becomes more cost effective.

By the way, have a search.. there are loads of threads on this subject. :)

Old cards usually have mucky edges. I can spot a very old card in a new pack just by looking at the edges. Which is useful. No one has ever pointed out the older card !

Also good for making short cards or thick cards

Practise for folding routines, and bookmarks.

You could stick them to the walls of your house until it's completely covered :D

Please use a spell checker before posting topics, it'll sort out most of the common spelling errors.
