Hey Guys,

First of, I do hope this does not come across as asking for a `secret` in any kind of way.

So some of you guys may have seen the illusion where a magician claps his hands together.. and when they separate, they are covered in blood, dispite being clean before-hand.

Without revealing too much, we know the secret is a "mixture of magic taking place when the hands are placed together".

What I'm wondering is, what are the two ingredients for this "Mixture" to work? could anyone PM me them please?

I think most theatrical suppliers have what you'll need (and you can even find it on eBay); a quick Google on the subject should sort you out

I believe it was called "dragon's blood"

Hmm, im sure it wasn't a powder.. Rather two clear liquids, which then turn into the `blood`?

The powder does it perfectly well, Danny; it's flesh-coloured, when rubbed in, and activated by plain water, which you can obviously add to your other palm, as needed, just prior to the effect; no messing around with two liquid chemicals required

As far as I remember the 2 'liquids' were named in the Science of Scams episode that dealt with the effect but there was no mention of quantities involved. Pm me if you don't know what I'm talking about.

I'm interested in this too. I have Googled like crazy and nothing came up under "Dragon's Blood" or anything related to the trick. I'm after an off-the-shelf product with the 2 liquids ready to go. I did find a DIY guide but I'm looking for the lazy option.

Hmm. perhaps I'm mis-remembering the name.
I'll try and hunt it down for you.

Can't find Dragon's Blood either; and can't find a product that matches what I've seen before, maybe it's no longer available.

Typing "blood" into various magic supplier websites gives a variety of other products that do the same thing though. I'd say pick your prefered supplier and search.
