I am sad to report the death of Jerry Nelson.

A true magician in every sense of the word, who started off his carrer working with american puppet legend, Bill Baird.

His work with Jim Henson, has i can assure you, touched each and every one of you reading this.

At Christmas, you will be singing along to him.. as the ghost of Christmas Present in a Muppet Christmas Carol.

He was responsible for many of the memorable characters in Sesame Street, In particular Count Von Count, and Mr Snuffalapagus.

His characters on the Muppet show, included Robin, Floyd Pepper, pops the door keeper, and the fish juggler, Lew Zeeland.

you can read up on his life and works here..
