Hot Book Advice

Postby Webhed » Aug 28th, '12, 19:32

I'm looking at purchasing a Hot Book for a themed show I'm putting together. Does anyone have any advice as to the best and most reliable model to buy, please? Also, is it better to buy an electronic or a manual one?

Personally I never trust electronics! Can go wrong in performance and if anything happens to the actual prop you have to send it back to the dealer/manufacturer.

I think ther is a Hot Book in Billy McComb's FIRST book (Goodliffe Publications)--'The First Book Of William

Thanks Allen. I don't think that book's in print any more, but I'll see what I can find.

Just to let you know I have not forgotten you.
I sent Mike an e mail re The First Book Of William.. strangely--no reply

Then on Weds. I received 2 texts.
'Have gone away for a few days Dad. No e mail. Talk when I return'

So with all the work on his final Uni Dissertation he has slipped away to the Algarve for a few days.
Let you know as soon as he returns and scans the HB to me
