Woody Aragon has some great ideas for the whole audience.
On his new DVD and in his book he has a trick called "Finding The Other Half" (or something similar), where all members of the audience get 4 playing cards each, shuffle them, tear them, put half of one card aside as a prediction) swap some of them with other members of the audience, throw some away, mix some more then keep throwing away cards until they are left with just 1 half, that half matches the half they previously put aside. All members of the audience can make different choices than each other throughout.
I perform this and it is really fun. It fooled me when reading the instructions in the book.
Just on his DVD he has a trick which is more of a joke, but it is really really good. And a hilarious opening trick. All members of the audience can partake in this, and can all make slightly different choices.
I don't want to describe what happens just in case you ever get to see it performed... It won't blow anyones mind, but will make the audience laugh, and is one of the best (most enjoyable and entertaining) openers i've seen. I've used it, and will continue to use it. This trick requires no props, just the spectators hands.
I very highly recommend these 2 effects.
