Ring magic

Postby sleightlycrazy » Oct 14th, '12, 09:28

I'm interested in learning more ring magic, and I was hoping you guys could help suggest things to study. So far, I know De'Ring, basic coin moves with rings, Koran's ring on stick and the ring thing. Where should I go from now? Thanks.

I don't really like DVDs, but L&L do one on finger ring magic which isn't bad; it includes Mark Leveridge's great "Ring on String" routine which you can also get separately from him as booklets.

Vernon's Ring on Stick is in Stars of Magic (a few versions).

There's a chapter on ring magic in the book that I keep plugging - Hugard's "Modern Magic Manual". It also contains a few versions of Ring on Stick, including the gimmickless one which I have used for many years.
