Banknotes

Postby vic_vdb » Jul 13th, '05, 19:04

I was reading an article which reckoned I could find files to print banknotes for magic in various locations.

Each of these had been removed or was a broken link.

Does anyone have a file they have made (in any format) to print banknotes for use please?

I'm not looking to use anything that has been commercially produced and sold as this would make my magic in Church look a little dodgy in the extreme.

Anyone who can also advise me what the best paper to use is would be most welcome too. I have a trick which requires about tweny banknotes and I don't fancy using real ones (as I haven't got them due to CUPS still raging in my veins :-) ).

Thanks,

Vic

Just found this site which might be helpful in my quest.

I'm publishing it in case it helps others.

Regards,

Vic

What a strange site. Intresting but strange. Having worked at the Royal Mint this came as quite a surprise to me how intrested people are in bank notes (for collecting, we all intrested in money.)

Mint only makes coins, the notes are made by one of the companies involved in running the lottery

I knew there was great intrest in coins, cos u get gold ones etc.

Anyhows, I'm off to spend the £1000 I just printed off from this website ( :P )

Odd people, why cant they have a normal hobby like us.............

Just back from the shops - amazing what you can do with pearlised paper and photoshop isn't it?

Now, where do I put all this magic before the blue lights appear :-).

A bit of airframe silver paint makes the metallic strip look absolutely realistic too!
