Drawing on my tongue

Postby jhmagic1 » Jan 31st, '13, 00:07

Just looking into safely drawing on my tongue. Is there a 'safe pen' out there available on the market?

Use an edible food dye in a fountain pen.

Couldn't find anything that would work but I didn't look very hard. However you could tear of a small strip of clear sellotape and draw on that. It won't adhere in the normal way but your saliva will hold it in place, and as long as the lighting's low it won't reflect much and will be invisible on the tongue.

Another option might be to get a fake tongue, cut away the bottom side and stick that to the top to your tongue. For adhesive look for either dental glue (which you can find in most pharmacy's) or pro makeup kits.

If you really want to experiment with drawing on the tongue for real then look for non toxic or children's paint / pens, but I'm guessing most paints and inks will either run or won't write clearly on a soft wet squishy surface.

If you're really hardcore, I've heard of people with tattoos on their inside lip so theoretically it could be done on the tongue. It depends how committed you are, are you a magician or a magi-shan't?

Invoke not reason. In the end it is too small a deity.

Cake making and cake decorating shops sell food dye pens which are used for fine colouring on icing. Assuming your tongue was dry and could be kept dry, they might work.

There's not many forums where you can ask a question like that and get people trying to give you genuine answers rather than just suggesting it might be time to stop taking LSD.

Good point, we all just accepted that needing to draw on your tongue was quite normal.... which it is, of course..... :?
