Might i suggest checking out the original by Dai Vernon in Stars of Magic? This doesn't require a faro shuffle, and pay particular attention to the last paragraph of the description, as i think this can make a world of difference.
You could alter the Vernon method by using a Zarrow shuffle, depending on what you are more comfortable using.
There are loads of variations on this effect, but the original is clear in effect, it isn't slowed down or muddled by extra shuffles and displays.

As FTHO as said most methods to acomplish this trick don't require a faro shuffle. I would also suggest you read my comment on your other recent topic on regards to your card magic.

Hi Anjorno. Thanks for taking the time to respond to my posts but you are misunderstanding my meanings and intentions. I am
a reasonably accomplished magician who earns a few bob from close up magic, restaurant work, parties, weddings etc. I am
writing this just having finished a 4 hour Mothers Day stint in a local restaurant. I am happy with the range of sleights I have
and use and don't particularly feel the need to get in to over complicated sleights and certainly don' t do flourishes and all the
tricky stuff magic geeks spend hours learning. Personally I think excessive manipulation of the cards just makes you look a
smart *rse without demonstrating any real magic skills. Performance is the secret to any trick not how many times you can false cut a deck one handed.
The two queries I have posted recently relate to a sleight and an effect that I am looking for a good learning source for. The
change is one James Brown uses in a routine I would like to be able to use and the Triumph effect is something I just haven't
got round to learning yet. I do a Triumph but use a gaffed deck so not all that clever. My mistake in thinking a Faro was needed
came from watching the trick performed on You Tube, something I am old enough to know better than to do!
I am not looking to be told how to do anything. Anyone who does that on here quite rightly gets a swift flea in the ear. When I
ask a question it is only to be pointed to a source of information which I am quite prepared to buy and learn from.
