This is known as 'Twisting the Aces' by Dai Vernon, and it is a classic of card magic. You can find it in many books and videos, but one that springs to mind at the moment is 'Easy to Maser Card Miracles volume 2' by Michael Ammar.

Buy the video, and learn one of the most amazing card effects around.

Hope this helps,
Kevin.

Dear Guest,

The Scot is correct, in that this sounds like a variation of Twisting the Aces. It is highly likely that you DID have this on your hard drive, and in that event, I will jog your memory... it uses an Elmsley count...
But on the off chance that this trick was NOT on your hard drive, I'm afraid it's only in the Magicians Only section of this forum that you can get routines and tips.

Meanwhile...

The 'Twisted Aces' routine is quite old hat now, in it's original form, and you may want to consider similar tricks, with impossible endings, like NFW! by Freed, or Impossible Twist by Zennith.

Both of these routines take the original trick a step further, and have a more definate 'killer' ending, although they both use gaffed cards.

Good luck in your hunt!
