Anyone know if you can still get battery packs for the original version?

For the cost, surley it's worth just upgrading to the new version? Which I believe is a vast improvement.

Never really understood the attraction of the thought transmitter when there are such simpler similar devices that don't need batteries!

Usually I would agree with this, but I happen to really like thought transmitter.
