http://stone.magiczoom.com/ is his homepage..the trick is on the Basic Coin Magic video I think, I've the dvd at home so shall look on it when I get there at the 21th aug again..
Anyway he first do the usual 'vanish' then he turns to show where the pen is and the coin disapers, then he showes where the coin could have gone and then both the pen and the coin is gone..hard to explain it without revelaing to much..

thats not the same thing as was being asked about on the original post. Thats more or less a gag used by many people.

The version your talking about, is where you stick it behind the ear.
You will also find refecences to this on Greg wilsons videos.

If you get into PenSpinning, there is a variation of the move 'Sonic 23' and if you close your fingers at the right time, the pen will seemingly disappear to anyone on the palm side of youu hand, then to make it reappear, you just continue with the sonic move. I would show a video, but cannot do the move very well, you can stil see the tip of the pen/(cil).
Good luck, sleeving is what i would use if someone asked me to vanish a pen.

It is possible to vanish a pen/knife without any pull and completely improptu.

Go to newmagicsecrets.com

They have the vanish there. It fooled me badly because it is a method I have never seen in action before. It really is diabolical
