Hey Mog - I'm not sure if you've ever seen the Brainstorm videos - but John Guastaferro has a variation using this idea on there that you might like. The 76 has a few more "kicks" to it, but the variation is nice.
Check out Volume one - it's Club Sandwich and Double Monte. It has some differences, but the effect is super strong.
I'll try to make a video of it for you to see.
