card trick with 3 cards

Postby aznwallie » Sep 9th, '05, 04:39

hello. i was wondering if anyone can write me a tutorial on how to do this card trick my friend showed me (he wont teach me how to do it and it seems like a very cool trick). He used 2 jokers, one joker which had color and the other without, and one ace. In the trick he made it look like the 3 cards were 2 noncollored joker and 1 coloered joker. in the he placed them in a row, colored joker face up, non colored joker face up and a face down card. Since in the trick he made it look like there are 2 non colored and 1 colored. he flips the face down card to reveal a ace. I was wondering how he did that trick if anyone ever heard of it before ( he had a story to go with it too i think)

I'm not too swish with cards but I have an idea of how its done. I wont tell you though I'm afraid and neither will anyone else. I don't know if you know this but we do actually have to pay for these techniques, handlings etc. unless you are clever enough to work it out for yourself (give it a go).

So without being too rude the answer is (and will be from others) a firm no.

It's a variation of the color monte effect. You can buy it at any magic shop anywhere. It's pretty cheap, too. Have a look and buy it there. You'll find everything you need to know.

This effect has a different patter, presentation and finish - but it's the same method. That's what you're looking for.
