Well it was near the Great Yarmouth market on a back street where cars were not allowed - rings any bells?

I think the place was called the trickery or something like that, there were very little tricks in there though and was mostly a joke store.

I visited there on holiday and new there was bound to be somewhere magicy so I finally found that one

hope this helps

The place in question is a joke shop on Regent Road - if you walk from Gt Yarmouth town centre towards the piers, you'll go down Regent Road (we used to call it 'Tacky Street' at the holiday park).

The joke shop is about 2/3 or 3/4 of the way down on the left hand side, as you face the pier.

It is a joke and fancy dress shop primarily - and has adult toys a bit further towards the back of the store. During the tourist season they have a stall out front with a guy demonstrating magic tricks and selling decks of Bikes for £5 a time...

Similar to what you'll see at theme parks etc. Overpriced, and c*** (not the best) quality too.

of course! i know who you mean Zack, there was someone on Yarmouth market a few weeks ago selling stripper decks for £10.00

The problem with a shop like that is that they may not know what they are talking about, not all dealers are magicians.

i was recently in great yarmouth, and i visit a magic shop inside one of the arcades called Atlantis. The building is on the seafront, and the guy that owns the shop is at the back of the building.
i took my kids in and i was really pleased with the service, the guy must have spent nearly an hour entertaining us and helping us. Although his stock may be a little more expensive than if you shop around, the time and help he provides is worth it.
