Penguin Magic Music?

Postby Ollivanders_382 » Sep 13th, '05, 00:04

Heres a bit of an odd question... Does anyone happen to know the names of any of the songs penguin uses in their demo videos? In paticular "Born to Perform Card Magic" and "Astral Projection", but any info on any of the music would be great, thanks in advance.

Dear Jeff,

Some of the music we have licensed from Trancenden (the most frequent being "Dis Phat (Like Albert)"). The rest of the music is from purchased music libraries.

Thank you for choosing Penguin Magic.

Best,

Great, thanks! If you're interested that song can be downloaded here:

it has most of the music clips from the demos in it.

I would imagine that on the bigger productions like Born To Perform they would author thier own music.

All depends on the licencing arangment for the sampled tracks.

If you have to pay royalties every time you use someone elses track it soon becomes expensive ... using samples from a library you can create royalty free tracks ... also offers the flexibility to make the music fit the particular music clip, tempo and length wise.
