RESPECT! And the knowledge that we'll all sleep better at night (except those of us who spent £80 getting one!)

Oddly enough I had actually visited this site before, but I thought it was dead as I got no reply when I e-mailed to ask a question.
In answer to your question mog I will promise to worship you and offer human sacrifice in your name if you so wish.

recieved my magnet from the US today, came in a nice little steel lined 3x3 inch box, from the time i ordered till today was 10 days

ok now as to how strong it is, this is going to be tricky as i have nothing to compare it with, as i swapped my bat and sold my raven. but here goes...

can start to make my screen wobble from about a foot and a half (not dramatically but thats when i notice it affecting it)

will lift a 2p from about 2 inches (lowered slowly over the top of it)
will lift needle from 6 inches

will make a needle stand in my hand from about 2 inches underneath

havent tried moving "noddy dog" heads through car windows yet though but will give it a go at soonest availability

all in all for my 15 quid layout i think its not too bad, like i said i dont know how this would stand up to an M5 but there is also a 2x2x1/2 magnet for $30 so would cost maybe £25-30 including shipping?

turns out i can also make a 2p stand on its edge in a specs hand... hehe REALLY freaked out the guys at work last night

also just as a point ive never had to "train" any items i've used to stand maybe its the way the magnet is poled??? no idea... just thought id mention it for the clever people

nope it isnt plastic coated... maybe nickel but even if it does corrode its only £15 for a new one

Mog...

Some things have a natural pole, but for instance, if you've 'wired' a match, and it stands up on the wrong end, you can train it to reverse poles...

Training is also used for inversion effects - i.e. objects being forced AWAY from the device.

Although, agreed, objects do have natural poles without training.

I'm going to order one of those 'third-party' magnets...

Well done!!!

thats what i was talking about, the 1p , 2p and a needle all did this by passing it under them without me training them first

although after i trained the aardvark it could sit, roll over and fetch me slippers... just a natural trainer me guess... hehe

Don't tell me I've been wasting my time!!!

I sit there like a fool, stroking the 'gimmick' along the items!!!

I'll have to try it... but pins and needles, especially, have needed training.

Excerpt from The Dundee Evening Mail, May 30, 2003...

"Dundee traffic came to a standstill today as a low-flying helicopter jet was mysteriously drawn out of the sky and forced to land on a UPS parcel van. The van, driven by A. McUrriour, was mysteriously coated in spoons, bicycles and, more strangely, chicken bones.

When questioned, the pilot stated 'it was so strange, it was like some magical force had drawn me down... almost like, Land Here... Now!'

The van driver, Mr. McUrriour, is being treated in Dundee General Hospital for severe shock, and some nasty abrasions where the zip of his trousers was ripped from it's fastenings and sucked into the back of the van.

Police are still trying to clear up the debris from the accident, but it is rumoured that people are being 'mysteriously drawn' to the crash site in their vehicles and are unable to leave.

An eyewitness, Mr Mog, said "heh heh heh  "

Police are holding him for questioning overnight, armed with soft-rubber coated batons."
