So which Mod deleted half of a thread in which myself and Mog were in debate over the whole rrtcm issue and didn't even have the decency to PM me or presumebly any of the other posters to say it's been done or give a reason?

no a mod moved it to the members lounge so that the topic of the original thread wasnt wasted.

I did look and I can see a new thread called rrtcm discussions but when I click on it it's says the topic does not exist. In fact I can't even get into the members lounge I'm told when I click that this not exist either. So Mog I didn't jump to any conclusions but clearly you did.

I looked to see if it had been moved, I thought that it might be it and then when you told me it had been moved and since I can't find it and there is one thread I can't open and this thread has a title that fits with the missing part of the thread I took a wild guess.

Can anyone else get into this thread or is it just me?

Intrigued by the discussion mentioned, I found it by searching for HappyToad's previous posts.

However I couldn't read the post, or enter the Members Lounge. Where is the Lounge in the forums list? Do you have to be granted access to this, similar to the restricted areas?

Yeah it's very weird, Mog wasn't happy with what I was saying and all of a sudden it's deleted and appears in a place that people can't actually get into.

I believe it may be due to a weakness in the strength of the dilithium crystals powering the machine and I can't get into it either and I know my machine, being a MAC (hooray) doesn't use dithium crystal but runs off on Maynard's Wine Gums (especially the black ones).

now nonsense like that wont get you anywhere... its got nothing to do with me being happy or not so you can forget that idea, the thread was split because it went completely off topic. there has been times before when posts have came up as saying "they do not exist" and in time they have sorted themselves out

Actually, speaking of which, I've lost a thread that I created as well on the file sharing forum. It was a flourish video I think. Wasn't really too bothered about it though, just wondering where it went...

Just for informational purposes, I can't even see the Member's Lounge on the list of available forums and therefore I can't get into it. However, it was my understanding that the Member's Lounge was replaced with the morbidly sounding "Dove's Head Pub". Perhaps if Mog provided us with a link to the thread in question we'd all be able to get there? And incidentally it would be nice to know who was the Moderator who decided to split, move and unwittingly cause such a kerfuffle over this particular thread. I think that in these instances Moderators should be held accountable for their actions, particularly when nobody has been informed of the move.
