Roughing spray (fluid) does it work? is it worth a fiver?

what can i use to make sum for my own? i tried flour n stuff, but their too noticable

Yes, it does work.

Is it worth a fiver? Maybe. It really depends whether you would use it.

Personally, I don't think that it's really worth a fiver unless you already have a good use for it, such as renewing one of the many R&S gimmick decks out there.

You could have a look at Fricto Fluid (do a search...).

£5 is not too bad a price as I've seen it in some places for as much as £8.

I use Letraset 103 matt coating spray. You can get it at any decent art shop.
