Just out of interest, how do you get the invites? I've got the account but no invites (as far as I can tell). Is that right?

Emm, i'mn not sure, when I signed up I got 6, then they just kept giving me them. Now i've got 50. You might have them, just have a look around the interface.

Besides a little bit of editing (to protect the innocent and for a bit of fun) this is what I get when I log in.

haha...stop looking folks...goldfish you gotta wait a while before the folks at google hand you invites. they have an intricate algorithm system which takes into accoutn many factors, from how long youve held a gmail account to how many emails you send and receive a day. Basically the more you use their account, the faster you will get your invites. as for invites...theyre nothing much anymore, google is handing them out like free condoms now so theyre pretty much available everywhere. What you'll notice is that after you get 50 invites and start sending them, theyll refill in a couple of hours which tells you a lot about this celver marketing ploy setup by google. Theyre not advertising....instead they get you to do their dirty work for them...freee....but its all worth it as you get a nifty little mail server right at your fingertips.

but if your mates are anxious for their very own gmail account...then just pm me with their email addresses and they will all have invites in their inboxes in a couple of hours..

P.S - only 50 email addreses per hour please

you wait, alot. i got 100... actully 200 cause i use 2 email acounts, yeah, pm me if you need a gmail account too

One thing that strikes me about this, is that the reason GMail dont post a subscription to an open market is because they dont want every Tom, Dick and Harry having one.

I dont think offering them freely is a very good thing to do.

I have invites also, but I am not sure how many becuase I haven't used it in a while. if everyone else runs out, then PM me (because I'm not particuarly sure of what my address was )
