Surely if you have the pen you don't need the instructions? It is fairly easy to work out the best handling to suit you.

Hi Midge...

Why not drop our friendly (but elusive) host an email... I'm sure he'd oblige...

Just a thought???

Anyway - the perfect pen needs only minimal explanation - and as I remember, the instructions are not too hard to get your head round. In fact, I've got 3 'pen-though' pens - and they're all basically the same.

I've not got the Perfect Pen - but I'm sure they're all much of a muchness...? I'd be happy to type you out a routine if you're desperate to sell...

Seige,

If you have three pen thru pens - how about posting a review comparing them - which one you prefer - or do you use different ones for different effects?

I went for the "Wonder Pen-a-tration" mainly as it used the same pen as the J.Cornelius benable pen, but I am not convinced there are not better (more examinable) ones out there. In saying that, the pen-a-tration is fairly examinable as long as part of it can be disposed of succesfully - which I must admit has not been a problem yet. (People are too eager to grab the pen and note to worry about what I am doing after the trick.

The Bendable pen may not be a great trick on its own - but when used with the Pen-a-tration pen it adds something (imho) to both tricks.

OK...

Will do a full set of reviews at another time, but here are the basics:

Stealth Pen
My newest addition. This is one of those plastic versions, which looks like the free pen you get in those 'Charity' envelopes through your door.
It's very innocent looking, and FULLY examinable afterwards.
Unless someone's really out to expose you, this is a great pen.

Deluxe Pen Through??? (not sure of name...)
This one's silver - and looks, writes and feels like a real high quality pen. In fact, in my 'pen-pot' at work, I've got two similar pens - and although they're both promotional items (with company logos on) this pen passes the 'ordinary' test.
It's gimmic is solid - and you can even show little bits of 'torn' banknote with this one, further enhancing the illusion.
My favourite - pretty much undetectable both before and after.

Pen through???? (not sure of name...)
This is actually one of those rubber grip Papermate pens, gimmicked to work the way it does - i.e. it goes through dollars etc. with NO fuss at all.
You can even watch it go through.
Although this is the most expensive one I own, It's pretty low on my list, as the working of it has let me down once in the past, and the others have not. Ho hum!

Misled -Timothy Wenk
I thought I'd chuck this one in for the hell of it, as it actually kicks @ss over the 'Pen Through' effects, as it's beautiful to watch...
A box of yellow pencils is placed on the table by the magi. The spectator is asked to select a pencil, and pass you a banknote.
The pencil is pushed VISIBLY through the note, and is shown to be truly penetrated. (NOT as visibly as with a PEN THROUGH routine, I must add).
As if this was not enough, you then RIP the pencil out of it's hole, and show the note and pencil unharmed.
THEN... you make a 'cradle' out of the note, and place the pencil inside the fold. You pause a moment, then VISIBLY the pencil melts down through the note.
Immediately, both pencil and note are handed out - the spectator can even KEEP the pencil.

Hope this helps.
