Hiya, I'm a newbie to this magic lark.

I have a few tricks under my belt already such as the coin through bottle, £1/1p, the good old disapearing silk (My friends are stuck on that one...its soooo simple bless 'em), and the brass disc - £1 routine.

I really enjoy it as a hobby and as something to trick my mates with down the pub.

Do anyone of you have any advise on what tricks are good for someone fairly new to magic to perform that have a decent "WOW" factor to them, costing upto £30-40?
