Anybody here watch that Space Cadets on Channel 4? While I may not necessarily agree with the concept of the show that's another matter...

On tonight's show there was one actor giving a lecture - by the name of Tom Salinsky and I was wondering whether this was the magician Tom Salinsky (who has, I belive, some products available on MT) or just an actor called Tom Salinsky?

Anybody know?

There was a show today?! I didn't think it started 'till January!

It started on Wednesday and is on every night from 9pm till 10 pm

Unfortunately, I missed it tonight, but I was showing magic to my friends and one hadn't seen me do any before, all he did was gasp, looked amazed and said "Do another one!!!!!"

i feel left out of the good shows at europe. im left with boring american shows...

Zero, not ALL of our shows are boring (though I do wish we'd stop pumping out crappy "reality" shows).

I usually hate the reality shows and don't bother watching them but Space Cadets has been the exception.

And a good bit of selection to get the "suggestable" (read thick) participants.

I knew I recognised that name, I just couldn't put a finger on where from. Don't know if it was the same person though.

Ooh, now that's a bit harsh - everyone's suggestible to a certain extent and it's not necessarily how intelligent you are.

But anyway - I did some research and yes, I do believe it was him. Check out Back Issue 186 on MagicWeek - it sure looks like him, and on another website it mentions that he has his own acting company or something like that and his hobbies include magic.

Quite a good performance he did as well last night.

Wonder whether they checked the participants for interests in magic...that could've blown the game

well the thing is. all the good shows here are brought over to europe. so if yo uthink about it, they get really REALLy good tv shows. (lost, desprate housewives... i think)

and those reality shows are now driving me crazy

Lost, The Simpsons, Futurama, nearly every film, nearly every game, nearly every console, better weather most of the time...................
