what is that used for? other then that, i liked how you made a hole for the sliding things, but you could try to push that thing up and keep it there so there wont be a gap, and i think that your mousepad is unnessary if the wood is smooth. love your ideas with the power exentions.

That's very cool - did you make it yourself? You could submit a picture to Gizmodo or something similar ;).

Anyway, it looks pretty good. I actually like the plain wood colour; maybe just a bit of varnish so it doesn't get so dirty.

If you want to colour it my first suggestion would be something modern and silver in line with the electronics on top. I'm sure you can find a metallic silver paint or similar?

the gaps for the audio jack cables for the laptop, mp3 and dvd.
mouse pad is actualy a cork backed placemat for the opticle mouse its a temp idea.

kat my idea paint wise was silver stipled hammeright which protewcts the wood and gives it a gun metal finish or toolbox blue.

theres space for the laptop and dvd as well as all cables and case for radio mikes, two of them.
i have a cd of tracks on the mp3 pendrive which i play as a sound check / base songs list wile i set up the laptop and dvd etc.
theres even room for my modest 300 cd collection.
