If you want to do this effect with locally available coins try ...
http://www.toddlassen.com/
You will be able to find what you need.
They are on the more expensive side but will supply the gaffed coin of your preference.

If anyone is interested in a set a UK coins for a Hopping Half effect (that actually contains a good range of UK gaffs) look at the Re-occurring Coins

http://www.alakazam.co.uk/acatalog/Alak ... _5_42.html

Good quality gaffs that you can bring out at any time. Also provides you with the options to do other magic with UK coins that requires gaffs

While a Lassen set is an excellent choice, I wouldn't recommend it, unless you are a serious coin worker. Not knocking ability or anything like that, but Lassen coins are a major investment (at least I think so!).

If you're a serious coin man, or a working professional - go for it. If this is more a hobby but you still want a nice set, I'd take the leap to Johnson products.

Sterling is decent enough - but I have a problem with their version of the hopping half (pm me if you'd like to hear why). I don't know about Tango's version, but I've heard bad things.

I'd say go with Johnson if you want high quality but reasonable price. If you want top of the line, check out Todd Lassen or Jamie Schoolcraft. Both amazing coin makers!
