Hi there,

Does anyone own these?

They look pretty striking!

There is a recent thread on this http://www.talkmagic.co.uk/ftopic8484.php&highlight=black+deck. Whats more if you look at the thread, Mandrake has posted a few links to other threads where it has been discussed previously.

EDIT: Actually I take that back, the cards you refer to are black bikes not the tiger deck. They are similar (but different). You should still get a feel for the cards from the tiger threads though.

Now available at Card4magic (see "New Lines").

I think they look good.

Still the same problem - what to use them for?

I've just ordered some as I had a great idea.

Many people look at you kind of funny when you suggest they keep the card they signed and you've just done magic with (ambitious card etc.). I thought that you couldnt actually sign a black faced card unless you used a silver marker! Now that would be a great keepsake for someone as I reckon that'd look pretty damn good.
That is of course if silver marker stays on a plastic coasted card

I am presuming this isnt an original idea. If it is I decree copyright! lol

You were almost right! The thread I added to this morning (hint, hint guys!) is http://www.talkmagic.co.uk/sutra66444.p ... ght=#66444 which concerns these cards.

Oops!

Sorry - I did a few searches but couldn't find reference to them.

I like the look of them, but know I'll never use them - so this time, I don't think I'll be ordering them.

Maybe I'm finally beating my CUPS !

Is it possible to get a white permanent marker to sign these?

I've not seen white markers myself but I have seen silver ones in places such as Staples / Office World which may be worth considering?

Silver looks outstanding on Tiger deck, I can only assume the same on these.

NO NO NO NO!!! I must resist and was doing really well until someone said that they would look great signed with a silver pen! Bl**dy excellent idea! And would be a really classy keepsake.

The silver paint markers don't dry instantlly though do they? A la Sharpie?
