I'm curious as to exactly how to do that coin in the can trick, better known as 'Sinful' any tips or pointers?

you could always buy the dvd?

Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music. - Kristian Wilson, Nintendo, Inc, 1989..

Sure, there's a FREE way to do it.

Get a canned beverage

1 - Borrow a coin from someone nearby

2 - Open the can

3 - Drop the coin in.

4 - Voila - hold for applause and get ready to bow.

Seriously. If you're truly interested in it, spend the money.

Actually can someone just tell me how all magic trickery is done and then I can tell the whole world so no one can get any joy out of the mystery of magic and therefore commit the art of magic to the annuls of history.
I hope that came across as sarcasm....

Seriously though it is always in the best interest of anyone who enjoys performing magic or even learning about it to keep it secret. As I've witnessed on many occasions when someone finds out how "it" is done you invariably get the same sentence uttered "Oooh is that it?".

I have a perfect metaphor for this:

"My mate Joe has £500 more than me in his bank account. He doesn't work as hard as I do, and it's unfair that he is earning more. I wish I knew his PIN number and I could get his cashcard and get the money out for myself"

Sounds a bit harsh, right?

But people keep things secret for a reason. Yeah, maybe Joe has more cash in the bank, but for sure, if he let everyone have his PIN he'd be skint.

Magic authors/writers/producers also have bank accounts. Sharing their secrets is pretty much the same as giving their bank details away, as you are effectively robbing them of their wages.

Nuff said ;)

PS... this comment is general, and not aimed specifically at OG1yaHerd, who started this thread.

Please read the rules befor posting
(that's all it takes)

Actually come to think about it my sarcasm was a tad uncalled for. I think I've woken up on the wrong side of the bed this morning

ah, get up and smile that it's morning. if that fails watch an episode of The Mighty Boosh, it's impossible to not be put ina good mood by Vince Noir!

back to business:
Mr OG1yaHerd, go post an introduction, let us know who you are, what you do, what magic you like to do and if you perform on any level.
then go read the exposure rules, then spend a few months posting in the regular sections of these forums befor being allowed to "share the secrets" as it were

There have been so many of those it gets beyond a joke at times but making a joke about it is far better than some of the responses seen on other boards!

As most people will know, before becoming registered these days, agreement has be made to abide by the rules and regs here and they're not unreasonable. Exposure is covered by those rules so the assumption is that people have actually read them before agreeing to them so there's no misunderstanding.
