Black Hearted Artefacts

I am a fan of Eugene B and think a spooky presentation does a lot to enhance the performance (as long as you leave no doubt in the audiences mind that you are not he next messiah DB take note)

They have a great section entitled Black Artefacts which has some great props if you are of the Simon Drake , Eugene B persuausion plus you can see Black Hart himself on the website.

It prompted me to make a haunted deck from an old pack of Tarot cards I had lying around, it adds to the effect immeasurably

See if it gives you any ideas

(Its also situated in Birmingham on Mandrakes doorstep geographically speaking  )

Never mind 'on my doorstep geographically speaking' this geezer's only about 700 yards as the (black) crow flies from where I live!! I've seen him around yet never suspected. As soon as we get back off hols I'll see what more he has in store!

i agree that spookiness (ooooooooo!) adds to the effect because its implying that magic isn't something that can be tught to you, it comes from within and it adds something else to the effect. Tarot card stuff can sometimes have an effect on your audience

Re the beard etc - I'm not all that observant these days! Actually, there are a lot of bearded guys within my postcode area - must grow one - or buy one soon. A beard, that is - not the guy.

 I was all set to nip round and say Hi and then I realised you'd moved! BTW, nothing's changed around these parts - except for more traffic lights and the long awaited filling in of the muggers' paradise Subways under the Cov.Road!
