passing a coin through your hand

Postby Option » Mar 9th, '06, 14:47

I'm trying to do the coins through the hand trick. But I'm getting stuck right at the beginning part. When I placed my hand on the spectators hand, they can feel the coin already.

What do I have to do so that there don't feel the coin? is there a certain speed, position where I should aim to have the coin land?

Warm the coin up a bit first - it won't feel cold on their hand. Make eye contact and forget about the coin in your own mind - worrying about it will draw attention to it. You need to be in control - so the person feels like they need to listen to exactly what you say. Get the person used to you touching their hands before you do the work - that way it almost becomes a subconcious thing to them.

Hope that helps..(and I hope I have the right trick  )
