Magic Magazines in the US

Postby bryan » Mar 12th, '06, 19:41

I want to first say hello to everyone.
My questions are.
1) are there any magic magizines that are circulated in the United states?
2) Im looking for some mail order catalogs. Are there any out there I like to sit and look at them for some reason, helps me decide on what im going to buy...

Is the 3 domino monte any good? I bought it off of ebay and i was wandering what everyone opinon is on that.

Thanks

I'm pretty sure there are many magazines in US. I saw Genii Magazine and Magic Magazine at Elmwoodmagic.
I love catalogs. I alos suggested some magic sites for printed catalogs. But they said it would be hard to keep it updated & would be expensive :(

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

Welcome, I havent seen domino monte so couldnt comment on that.

As regards mags well MAGIC magazine is from the US so it shouldnt be hard to get hold of. Catalogs are a good thing but try www.penguinmagic.com wher as with all online retailers its a catalogue but with demo vids.

I once had a play with a Domino Monte effect, and my initial impression was that it wasn't any good. After a longer trial, I concluded that I still thought it wasn't any good. I tried it on one spectator who was unimpressed by it.

Maybe I should give it another chance but, to be honest I don't want to waste my money!

By the way, I have moved this thread since it isn't appropriate for the Magician Talk section which is reserved for discussion about magicians.

I don't think so. It isn't an introduction. He only asked 2 questions, he need to change the topic title.
