KatiKut

Postby katrielalex » Feb 4th, '06, 15:20

Hello -

I made a tutorial for the KatiKut and the Trinary Cut but I'm not sure if that's OK for the public area - should I put them up here or in the MO area?

I've re-edited the video just to show the KatiKut. Unfortunately, that rather cuts the quality, so this is just temporary until I refilm it, OK?. You can find it here.

I would've thought that if it's your own creation, then if you're willing, then you can! The trinary cut on the other hand isn't...

Indeed...

I'll re-edit the video then I guess, so it's just my cut. Then I can post it here all I like...

That begs an interesting question doesn't it?

Who does the Trinary cut belong to? Maybe you could get in touch with them and show them your video and ask them for permission to post it on your website. You never know they may be overjoyed.

The Trinary Cut was invented by David Acer, and is available off of Born To Perform

I'm looking forward to the video Kati :D

Ah...

I wonder - that's a good question about the Trinary Cut. I may contact Acer but in the meantime I will re-edit the video to show just the KatiKut...

Hi nice freaking cut man!

I'm new to the magic cardician stuff BUT well interested.

My question to you. Are the bycicle playing cards incredible good for preforming good sleights or are they just cards. Cause here in belgium.. No idea where I can get them. I can order em off the internet but if you say you can do the cut as easy with bicycle cards as with a deck from mcDonalds then I just keep on practisching with my mcDonalds deck :).

keep up the good work

Impressive!

Impressive dude! Very nice cut! I'll guess I'll practice that one today :) !
And to you scorpio, throw that MD-deck on some grumpy old guy, that's the best usage of it I can think of at the moment. No, but seriously, don't struggle with bad cards, as the quality does matter when it comes to learning. I recommend bikes, their quite cheap and are certainly better quality then your McDonald cards :D

Thanks :).

And macos is right, although buying a pack of Bikes will not immediately make your tricks perfect it does make it a lot easier to do some stuff - for example, it's impossible to thumb fan a cheapo pack; the finish on Bikes makes them slippery so they spread neatly.

If you're ordering from the 'net make sure to buy 24packs or so as it works out cheaper if it's a hassle to order a new pack.
