Hey! Newbie to magic... and I have some questions.

I'm new to the boards, and magic in general. I was looking at some videos and I am intrigued by a lot of the tricks.

I was wondering, is it tolerable for me to ask how a certain trick is done?

If so, I hope to learn a lot by studying and the help of people on this forum.

Hey there Hobo and welcome to the boards.

You can ask, but you won't get the answer your after.
If you tell us the type of effect your interested in we can certainly point you to the appropriate DVD or book.

Welcome to the board. You will see lots of hints and tips. Just use the search button or ask for advice (not exposure)

Welcome

You can ask about a trick if you own it (and can prove that you own it). Usually people ask about problems that they're having but this is very rarely discussed on the open boards. It's usual to post a question (without revealing any secrets) and ask for a response via the PM.

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!
