I have to say after trying this out on a few people today I will have to retract the slightly obvious thing.
All heat is on the tic tac box and I must say I'm rapidly becoming a fan. I always make the mistake of thinking just because something is easy that it means it's not effective.
I think I'll be carrying this around for a while. A very nice quick trick especially when you use patter to indicate it's mearly a skill.
I use patter to say it is a way of praticing certain coin control techniques and it's not until you ask them to try it themselves that (scuse the pun) the penny drops and by then you are clean.

Yeah, when I first did this I thought about telling the spectator what I was going to do and showing them the coin wouldn't fit in the tic tac box. After thinking about it... this would have been stupid to do as it would take away the amazement when you as the spectator to have a go. Its much better using patter to make them think you are just an accurate thrower, and then ditching the gimmick when they are trying to fit the coin into a gap that just wont go.

I use a 20p when I'm performing this one as it has more room to roll about when its inside the box...not that it needs to...just I think it the more movement possible the better.

PS: sorry about your knackers...they'll heal!

Thanks they are healing nicely although are still hesitant to descend back to their original location. Luckily though I have been forgiven as long as I dont buy anymore magic. Unluckily though I am waiting on a review of "electric touch" and for the sake of my relationship (and my recovering knackers) I hope it's cack

Hi, first post on this forum, and yes I did see that it has been a while since anybody posted on this thread, but.......

I got this trick last week from Magicbox and there was no gimick in the package! When I called them up, they got another one in the post to me the same day, (top stuff magicbox) and they even threw in one of their dvd's!

Anyway, the trick i find easy, and the first (and only) 4 people I have done this on so far didn't work it out at all. I like to open the top of the tic tac box and pretend I'm aiming for it.

10p's work the best, and if you can get a tic tac to fall into your hand when the 10p does, all the better.

Been reading lots on here and love the forum. As I said this is my first post, first of many I hope. Been doing magic for about 2 years now. Glad I found you guys.

Keep up the good work.
Andy

Welcome to TM Andy and thanks for your input - why not nip over the Introductions sometime and say Hi to everyone?!
