spoon bending (fake/illusion)
pepper mill through table
levitating bread roll
These are taught in most magic books/courses I think. If I remember correctly, they're all in "Magic for Dummies" which is sold in some standard bookshops, and is worth a read (not just for dummies)

There's a couple of effects with linking polo mints here:

There's a few things you can do with toothpicks, and matches if you do a google, and you can always try vanishing small objects and stuff.
I do a good version of the disappearing pizza. It's very visual, and takes about 15 minutes including the final phase of licking the plate
