I have a book about teaching your self NLP funny enough called "teach Your Self NLP" page one was good then i gave up maybe there is some code in the title "Buy this book but it wont help much".

Do you think they will also offer a tailoring service so you can wear a crushed velvet too , because if the do i will part with £20

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.

Haha!

That is funny.

We had a lecture only a few weeks ago from Andy Nyman. He co-writes and comes up with stuff with Derren, and erm... I have to admit it, he didn't use NLP.

NLP is good for self help and supposedly helping others, but they are effects that can be read in a book, and when practised well, be done just the same. Someone said the trick Derren did to Stephen Fry was NLP, and he made him think of the King o' Diamonds..... yep, if NLP is also known as John Kennedy, then he did ;) The same guy paid £400 for a masters course in NLP in London, and still couldn't make people think of the King o Diamonds!! Although he did learn a few things

You want to learn some Derren Brown effects or get closer the mind of Derren... buy Pure Effect. Its full of his humour and smugness, but please buy the real copy, don't rip him off, and get the e-book. I can also recommend Get Nyman, for some more Mentalism effects, a funny dvd with Ali Cook and Pete Firman starring alongside Andy Nyman. It also has a great segment on spectator selection.

Magic is an art that takes years to master, and as long as people who study magic realise that, then let the folks who think they can buy this £20 piece of c*** (not the best) and take the short route... let them waste their money, they'll learn... the hard way.

Just my rants and opinions.....

P.S How much would I get for a signed copy of magicseen? Signed by Nyman.... and his daughter :D :P

The makers of Derren's official website were not aware of this but they are now and all the details have been passed on to the relevant department!!

I wonder who could have possibly let them know???? ;-)

You wont find much better anywhere and it's nothing - a rigmarole with a few bits of paper and lots of spiel. That is Mentalism

Hey guys,

well done for pointing the site out to Derren.

Hope he can do something about it.

One thing I would ask though. Could the link be deleted from the first post?

How many "guests" are people looking into magic forums for secrets?
You are helping them while it is still there.

I know that you are doing your best to prevent this, but now Derren does know, the link is no longer needed.

Darrel.
