move the coin to a different position.. it sounds like you should try it further back

I'm no master at the Classic palm (can't do it to save my life) but a couple of tips I've picked up;

a. Get the position right. There's a website somewhere (I'm sure that someone will post the link) that gives a 'cutaway' explanation of the muscles in the hand. If you bend your wrist away from you and look down your hand, you should see a "V" shape - the coin goes in there.

b. It won't look perfectly natural.

Just practice. People think that the coin needs to be held tightly - it doesn't it is a light object 9thanks for that Mr Bobo :wink: )

Also no one should be really examining your hand with good misdirection.

Finally look at your hand relaxed (mine anyway) your thumb is very nearly pointing straight down as it is.

Practice. Learn to hold the coin first then move onto naturalness.

Cheers,

I used to think this, but it really is not the case. I have really slender hands and I can now do it pretty well. The muscule holds the coin, not fat. My advice would be to remember that the little finger plays a bigger role than you'd think. Move you little finger as far out as you can then gradualy bring it back in to a more natural possition. That's what worked for me anyway ;)
