I really like it. The patter was really cool, too. It's a cool trick. Well done Mog.

Thanks,

Very nice - you're positively oozing magic now! Just out of interest, was that a gold plated penny at the end or another gold coin of the same size?

Nice job, Mog. Have you heard of the marketed effect Alchemist's Fantasy? It's a similar effect to this one.

No no - your handling is very different.

The marketed effect uses multiple coins - and doesn't end as cleanly. (It ends clean enough, but requires a bit of tidying)

In many ways, I think your version is stronger, simply due to the fact that it's confined and more "intimate".

Here's a link with a demo video.

I just watched that vid - it's good but doesn't look quite so 'clean' as Mog's as there are some iffy moves at a couple of stages. Nice to see the changes from coper to silver but the final change with the off camera part isn't all that impressive. Mog 1, Elmwood 0!

Nice one Mog, lovely effect, great patter, nicely done.. Top marks! :D

Personally I probably wouldn't say it was a magician who beat the alchemists, I'd probably say stranger or something mysterious like that, but please feel free to ignore me because it was so darn good and that really is just my personal nitpicky taste...
