Green finger - PK ring Question

Postby archimage » May 18th, '06, 19:45

I recently bought a PK ring (small, can you believe it?) it fits my size 7 finger perfectly. However, after a couple days, I noticed it is turning my finger green. Is there a better way to keep it and my clean?

You will have to do what I did and cover it in clear nail laquer or varnish. mine requires re-covering every 3 weeks or so!

There's another recent post on this problem somewhere and the nail laquer idea seemed to be the most effective. I'm sure there were other suggestions which might help but can't locate the thread at the moment.

I wear mine most of the time, I don't take it off much at all, but I keep finding little bits of shrapnel stuck to it, and when I get change from the shop 1p and 2p's stick to my hand all the time.

lol, has anyone noticed your strange attraction to modern copper coinage?

Don't hold onto the handrail on the circle line, or you could end up going round and round until the fire brigade cut you free.

Yeah it is funny when I try to slide the coins into my wallet, and a few just won't work free! I have worse trouble with my arm and the raven or M5, every time I go to open the car door... "Clunk" and I am stuck LOL

Now there a thought - I need to find a pub that has bar that has some sort of metal railing on it - that could be my excuse for getting p**sed.
