SELLERS / BUYERS CHECK LIST

Postby dat8962 » May 21st, '06, 12:07

I said in another post about ebay dealers that I'd start a post on the idea of setting up either a section or perhaps a Sticy in one of the existing rooms (magic for sale of magic wanted) so that people can post details of traders that have SPECIFICALLY ripped people off.

I'm not talking about bad customer service or having failed to agree on a resolution to a particular sales enquiry. What I mean is people who take the money and don't send the goods, or knowingly mis-advertise what they are selling. Those that we would normally consider to be not far from being a crook.

I sould suggest that the posts would need some form of vetting to ensure that the criteria is met but I don't see any legal issues with people posting their true experiences. How other use the information is up to them.

I've had a coupe of bad experiences on this myself so it's a topic that's close to my heart.

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

I think that as long as no other listing then the ebay sellers online nickname is told there is no accual law brake. Since these names in no way are trademarke or exlusive for a singal individual.

But I whould have someone to check to be sure. dont want to put the forum runners in trubble.
